Cuba Support Group

Cuba has shown that the countries of Latin America need not be condemned to poverty and backwardness, that progress can be made and the highest standard of health care, education and social welfare achieved. Cuba Support Group was formed in 1993 in response to the intensified US blockade of the island and the effects of the blockade on the lives of the Cuban

people. Cuba Support Group brings together people across the political spectrum who

believe in Cuba's right to trade, to development and to self-determination and who oppose the threat posed by the illegal US blockade to the achievements of the Revolution.
